Welcome Austin, Development Manager!
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest team member, Austin! Austin joins us as our new Development Manager and will focus on Community Outreach, Membership Relations, and the Riverside Arts Market.
A UNF graduate and Jacksonville native, Austin brings an intimate knowledge of the neighborhood to our team after serving as the Campaign Manager for District 7 Councilmember Jimmy Peluso. He has worked on numerous campaigns across the state of Florida where he focused on embracing local identity and understanding communities. He also serves in the U.S. Navy Reserves and has extensive experience in operational planning and execution. “This neighborhood is a standard bearer for what community feels and looks like. I am excited to bring the skills I have built in years of grassroots campaigning to RAP to help advance our goals of preserving and promoting Riverside and Avondale.”
When he isn’t at work, you may be able to find him walking the neighborhood, enjoying a cup of coffee at Bold Bean, or enjoying the restaurants in Avondale.
