Produced by Riverside Avondale Preservation, Inc., the Riverside Arts Market is every Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., rain or shine. RAM features a variety of small businesses, everything from artists to farmers to makers and bakers.
We are excited to announce that RAM will be reopening on Saturday, May 23 as the Riverside Essentials Market. Our Phase One market will include only “essential” businesses like farmers, pre-packaged food sellers, food trucks, and makers of PPE and bath and body products.
We are taking many precautions to ensure everyone who visits the market is safe. The booths will be spaced out so that there is plenty of room for people to shop without crowding. Our vendors will all be wearing masks, and will sanitize their booths frequently. We will also have handwashing stations available on-site.
In addition to these safety measures, we are asking our customers to abide by the following guidelines:
- If you aren't feeling well, stay home.
- Face masks are strongly recommended.
- Practice social distancing by standing at least six feet away from other groups of people not with you, and not gathering in the market area.
- All items purchased are to be “taken away”; food purchased should be consumed off-site.
- When possible, pre-order meals from food trucks and make purchases with card rather than cash.
- Utilize provided hand-washing stations after purchases.
- Accept safety instructions from management personnel and makers.
We don’t have a date yet for the return of Riverstage performances or morning yoga. Once we get approval to add more vendors to the market, we will welcome back our artists.
We are looking forward to seeing you all under the bridge again! Come on out and support our local businesses!
At the Riverside Arts Market, enjoy the harvest of the agricultural arts by supporting Florida farmers. Pick up the freshest local produce of the week, with some of it coming from Jacksonville! To remain sustainable, farmer’s depend on your weekly purchases, so come for the freshest and stay for the fun. Our community benefits from all of us staying “loyal to local.”
RAM farmers also welcome Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients by accepting EBT and WIC Farmer’s Markets Nutrition Program Coupons. RAM also partners with Feeding Florida’s Fresh Access Bucks Program to provide an EBT incentive which matches dollar for dollar per market day with no limit. To learn more on how to shop the market with your SNAP money, visit us every Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
