To make exterior changes to your home or business within the Historic District, a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) is required which is given through the City of Jacksonville’s Planning Department.
To obtain a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA), an application must be submitted via the City of Jacksonville’s Planning Department. This can be done online.
