The Music Tour will share our community’s music history at multiple distinct locations throughout Riverside including homes, yards, parks, and businesses. Unlike a typical music festival with centralized stages, the Music Tour will offer a program and walkable route to unassuming stages and locations throughout the district. Riverside Avondale Preservation: Thank you so much for partnering with us to make our first-ever Music Tour an experience that can’t be missed. Could you tell us a little bit about your business and history?
Cowford Realty & Design: Cowford Realty & Design started in 2015 in the historic neighborhood of Riverside. Now in Avondale at the corner of Park & Dancy, our 30+ agents have a passion and drive to help customers reach their real estate goals in our historic neighborhoods and beyond. Our fun nod to Jacksonville’s historic roots is captured in our name – Jacksonville was long referred to as “Cowford” because there was a spot in the St. Johns River near Liberty Street in downtown that was the narrowest where locals forded their cows across.

CRD: Giving back to our community is our greatest mission at Cowford. We love to support Riverside Avondale Preservation, be it through volunteering at the Home Tour or sponsoring the annual Summertime Historic Homeowner Workshop Series. We support our friends in Murray Hill year after year for their amazing Murray Hill-O-Ween Festival and jump at every chance to support local organizations that serve the youth, like JASYMN.
