Little Local Box

The little box full of local celebrations

Welcome to the Little Local Box, a community-driven arts initiative bringing the creative spirit of our neighborhood to life. Inspired by the beloved free little libraries, this charming box is filled with miniature and small works from the minds and hands of local artists and makers.

Its mission is to connect creators with the community in an innovative, accessible way—while celebrating the talents that make our neighborhood truly unique. Each piece you’ll find in the Little Local Box is a small but powerful reminder of why practicing “Loyal to Local” matters.

How to best enjoy the little local box

If you take a piece from the Little Local Box, we kindly ask that you leave a piece behind for someone else to enjoy. Whether it’s a candle hand poured by your neighbor, a poem penned by you or a friend, a sealed food item from your favorite neighborhood chef, or your third grader’s most recent Picasso, the Little Local Box is a place for all art to live to spark the joy of creativity.

The Little Local Box is located at the Buckland House at 2623 Herschel Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204

The Little Local Box was designed and crafted by Fünf Katzen, a Jacksonville-based carpentry service specializing in handcrafted woodworking.
