One of the premier holiday events in Jacksonville, Luminaria has brought friends, family and neighbors together for one, joyous Sunday evening in December to illuminate the historic Riverside Avondale district by candlelight for the past 41 years.
Purchasing your Luminaria kits through RAP allows us to provide free supplies to parks, churches’ community spaces, merchant areas, and other public areas with the aid of hundreds of volunteers.

We need your help to build and sell the more than 30,000 Luminaria kits that will set our neighborhood aglow on Dec. 21! Volunteer opportunities are available at the Buckland House, home of RAP at 2623 Herschel Street, and the Riverside Arts Market.
Individuals or small groups are encouraged to sign up. Bring a few friends and make great memories while helping out the community and collecting volunteer hours for school, professional needs, or simply spreading holiday cheer!
