Liz, a Springfield resident, moved to Jacksonville in 2009 and quickly fell in love with the Urban Core. After graduating from the University of North Florida, she moved to Riverside and worked for Downtown Vision, Inc. (DVI). There she managed the First Wednesday Art Walk and several other promotions and events focusing on revitalization efforts of Downtown. She continued following her passion for placemaking, the Urban Core, arts and events and joined the Friends of Hemming Park team as their Events Director. Right before joining RAP, she spent a short time at Sweet Pete’s Candy. Wanting to be back in the nonprofit world, she was very excited to join RAP. She sees RAM as a blank canvas for community projects and organizations. She is passionate about the Jacksonville community and showcasing the city’s history and arts.
